Softronics Ltd., a small contract engineering firm in Marion, is growing thanks to its talented and experienced management, plus a commitment to work with CIRAS and pursue the months-long ISO certification process. ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization.
ISO-certified companies often win contracts because they can prove they do quality work. Some months after Softronics became certified, the company received an order from nearby Iowa defense contractor Rockwell Collins to produce 250 radios destined for airport control towers throughout the world.
