David Bogaczyk from Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) worked with Wayne Morgan, owner of Mid-Iowa Satellite. CIRAS specialists provide customized assistance including counseling, technical assistance and training to help Iowa businesses market products and services to federal, state and local governments. The result for Morgan: a contract with Iowa Prison Industries.
The national Procurement Technical Assistance Program is administered by the Defense Logistics Agency for the Department of Defense. CIRAS manages the program in Iowa, providing research and technical help at no cost or at a nominal cost.
