Members of Iowa National Guard’s 734th Agri-Business Development Team (ADT) are preparing for a year-long mission to Kunar Province in Afghanistan. Iowa State University (ISU) researchers and extension experts helped the team establish a common base of knowledge on a wide variety of agriculture-related topics so they can work with Afghanistan leaders and farmers to rebuild the agricultural infrastructure there. In this video, ISU faculty and ISU Extension specialists teach the National Guard team how to teach others and give support to improving agri-business half a world away.
