Maple sap needs a little help to be turned into maple syrup, and that’s where the mobile sugarhouse comes in. Extension foresters have taken the concept of the traditional sugarhouse —a wooden building out in the timber with a cast iron kettle for boiling sap — and tweaked it for mobility and onsite demonstrations.Farm Progress Show: Maple Syrup Made in Iowa
